Desserts

cinnamon and brown sugar pasta

Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Pasta

Elegant apricot and almond tarts with a luscious cream cheese base over light and airy puff pastry pockets. These not-too sweet tarts are the perfect dessert for your next summer gathering.

Apricot & Almond Cream Cheese Tarts

It’s a really simple recipe that makes a lovely party dessert or even a sneaky sugar-laden but totally acceptable treat at breakfast or brunch…or Saturday night on the couch. Again, no judgment.

Quick & Easy Petit Pain au Chocolat

Buttermilk Dutch Baby with Cherry Preserves & Maple Cream

Rich & Tangy Passion Fruit Curd

Impromptu Pumpkin & Candied Walnut Pie

I’ve been making these white chocolate and pumpkin seed spiced cookies for 5 years and I still can’t get enough. They bring all the warmth of the holidays in a really unconventional way that you have to experience to believe. They’re soft and chewy with little crisp and salty bits from the roasted pumpkin seeds and luscious pockets of creamy and sweet white chocolate. It’s all enveloped in a spiced cookie dough that will leave a hint of spice on your tongue.

Some of my favourites

Homemade Jamaican beef patties with rice and peas in the background.
These fish tacos with mango salsa and creamy white lightning sauce are full of vibrant flavours layered together to create a perfect bite. Made with baked fish and lots of fresh ingredients, they’re healthy but they taste like pure indulgence. All for only 400 calories and 10 grams of fat per serving of 3. The best part is that they’re quick and easy to make. Fish tacos are the answer to boring weeknight meals.
Caramelized Roasted Cabbage Stuffed Phyllo Spirals
Homemade potato gnocchi with lamb ragu made from leftover roast lamb and mashed potatoes.
